The transformation of agricultural and food systems into resilient, inclusive and sustainable engines of growth requires far more than political declarations of intent. It requires substantial investment, innovative financing approaches and committed agripreneurs who have the necessary knowledge, appropriate tools and sufficient resources to realise their potential.

The ‘Scaling Access to Finance for Agripreneurs’ conference brought together decision-makers from public institutions, the private sector and development organisations from 12 countries. The aim was to share strategies, best practices and practical solutions to better mobilise investment for rural businesses and to work together to provide new impetus for strengthening agricultural value chains.
