  • Your IP address,
  • Date and time of the server request,
  • website from which the visitor accessed the website (so-called referrer URL),

  • and host name of the accessing computer.

The data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany and automatically deleted within the framework of the existing legal provisions.

The processing is expressly not carried out for the purpose of gaining knowledge about the person of the visitor to the website. It is only used to ensure the speed, security and stability of the website as well as to enable a user-friendly application and better administrative support of the website.

The processing of the above-mentioned data is therefore carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO on the basis of a legitimate interest.

2.2 Cookies on our website

We use the software “Matomo” (www.matomo.org) on this website, a service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. The software places a cookie (a text file) on your computer with which your browser can be recognised. In addition to the data collected under 2.1, Matomo stores the following data

  • the time spent on the website
  • the pages that are accessed from the sub-page called up

The data collected with Matomo is stored on our own servers and processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit f of the GDPR. It is not passed on to third parties.

The data is never used to personally identify the user of the website and is not merged with other data. By anonymising the IP address, we take account of the user’s interest in the protection of personal data. We use the data collected to analyse the surfing behaviour of users and to obtain information about the use of the individual components of the website. This enables us to constantly optimise the website and its user-friendliness. The data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes.

You can object to the recording of data in the manner described above in three different ways:

  • You can completely prevent the storage of cookies in your browser. However, this may mean that you will no longer be able to use some functions of our website that require identification.
  • You can create a so-called opt-out cookie, which is valid for two years. As a result, Matomo will not register your further visits. Please note, however, that the opt-out cookie will be deleted if you delete all cookies.
2.3 Other personal data

Further personal data is only collected on our website if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. when filling out the contact form. We use the personal data you provide exclusively to answer your enquiries, to initiate and process contracts (e.g. when submitting applications) and for technical administration.

Apart from the website, we collect personal data for the initiation and processing of business transactions (e.g. with other companies or service providers), e.g. via an internet search in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) DSGVO.

After the processing of your inquiry or the fulfilment of the contract, your personal data will be deleted with adherence to the legal retention periods.

3. Recipient of personal data

Apart from the technical uses stated above, your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the initiation or fulfilment of a contract or has been specifically agreed upon with the data subject(s).

Apart from the exception stated above with regard to YouTube, a transfer to third countries as defined by the GDPR does not take place without explicit prior consent by the data subject(s).

3. Collection, processing and use of data within the scope of our project work

Within the scope of our work, we collect personal data on behalf of organisers for the preparation, implementation and follow-up of events. Privacy policies and data protection guidelines specific to each project apply to this data. The specific privacy policies to each project are indicated on the project-related websites and online forms as well as in the project related e-mails. This privacy policy does explicitly not cover the data collected within the framework of our project work.

5. Information about user rights

You have the right to ask for your personal data, to have it corrected if necessary, to request its processing to be restricted or for it to be deleted. The data will then be deleted. You can also revoke the permission to use your personal data at any time. This does not affect the legality of the processing up to the time of revocation.

If you have any questions or complaints about this website or if you have questions concerning the collection, processing or use of your personal data, to request information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, as well as to revoke permissions, please contact management using the contact details given above or contact our data protection officer Bente Hansen at datenschutz@greenstorming.de.
