Dialogue Forum “What World Do You Want to Live In?”

 

This dialogue forum took place on 14 May 2013 at the Berlin Spreespeicher. 17 young contributors on WorldWeWant.de presented and discussed their hopes and ideas for the world of tomorrow together with the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development. The initiative is part of worldwide consultations on new goals set by the United Nations for fighting poverty and promoting for economic, social and ecological development. After 2015, these goals are meant to replace the so-called Millennium Development Goals. On behalf of the BMZ the event was organized by the GIZ.

2. BMZ-Future Forum: Youth in Africa. A New Mindset Arising?

 

The 2nd BMZ Development Forum took place on 23 and 24 April 2013 at the Umspannwerk Kreuzberg in Berlin. The topic of the international event was the new mindset of the young African generation that no longer wants to wait, but rather wants to act. On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) the event was organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

"Zukunftsentwickler 2012"

 

This evening panel discussion "Zukunftsentwickler 2012" (Future Developer) on the role of the African Continent in reaching the goals of sustainable energy for all initiatives took place on 3 December 2012 at the Landesmuseum in Bonn. The event fell into the framework of the annual topic of the BMZ, the GIZ and the KfW Development Bank. The evening was organized by the KfW Development Bank.
